Telegram mini-app SEED has announced a partnership with the Sui Foundation to create a web3 gaming ecosystem with the goal of reaching 100 million players. By leveraging Sui’s Layer 1 blockchain, the developers aim to make blockchain gaming more accessible to players and developers alike.
The initiative will also include the SEED Combinator Program, an accelerator designed to support startups in creating games and applications on the Sui network. With over 60 million existing users, SEED is positioned to drive substantial growth within the blockchain gaming space.
Although financial details of the investment were not disclosed, the partnership promises innovative features like augmented reality (AR) gameplay and NFT integrations.
What can we expect from this partnership?
This collaboration aims to establish Sui as a key player in blockchain gaming, with SEED spearheading its efforts to build a robust ecosystem. By moving its flagship game from TON to Sui, SEED plans to utilise the platform’s low transaction fees and scalable infrastructure to enhance user experience and gameplay.
The partnership also includes initiatives such as a new NFT mint on the Sui network and an airdrop of the $SEED token to existing players. Additionally, immersive AR gameplay and developer support programs will be introduced to attract both users and creators, further expanding the ecosystem.
“Choosing Sui as our technical backbone, with its unmatched scalability, efficiency, and developer-friendly architecture, enables us to empower builders and accelerate innovation,” said Dees, CEO of SEED. “With Sui, we’re equipped to deliver on our mission at a whole new level.”
